I found your analysis of your haiku really interesting. It was not at all my interpretation. For me, it brought up imagery of death, a vacation that goes by too quickly, and the all too quickly forgotten realization of the fact that we spend too much time working and don't appreciate what we have in the moment or make the most of the moment and find that time flies and we have regrets.
