Excellent advice. I try to do this myself. For example, I take a walk before switching from one big focus item to another during the day. I do my best thinking when not trying to think. On those walks, I literally stop to smell my neighbors rises, despite bring disappointed every time that they don't smell like anything. I'll watch a squirrel or a caterpillar or just take note of the changing shades of green from one season to the next. Or I'll celebrate ridiculously for the littlest thing like remembering to do a whole load of laundry in one day.
